Astronomy is a science which fascinates more and more people. But in order to understand it, you will need to have some knowledge and experience. Still, there are some Windows applications which allow you to study celestial objects, like satellites, in a very simple and intuitive manner. One such application is PreviSat. This Windows program allows you to track almost any satellite in real time and view it on an animated map, which also displays the areas in the world which are enlightened by the Sun.

After the program is installed and launched, the user will be presented with an intuitive interface, which displays the World map, together with the position of the International Space Station. By accessing the tabs of the program's interface, the user will be able to add various satellites from around the world, as well as the position of the most important cities.

What's more, by browsing through the program's tabs, the user will be able to view detailed information about a selected satellite. Still, some details can only be understood by experienced users, who have astronomical knowledge. The user is able to select the update interval for the real-time data. The user will be able to print the program's map, together with the position of satellites, for later analysis.
